While remaining in the Irish spirit this fine Monday morning, here is an outstanding pour I need to profess my love for. This is a @keepersheartwhiskey single barrel finished in a stout cask, bottled at 55% exclusively for @richfieldliquor that @tourista_jane picked up for me not too long ago, and I seriously cannot get enough of it. A stout barrel is an absolute weapon when done right and @briannationcork and his team nailed this single cask.
St Patrick’s Day is for fun, and what’s more fun than opening something brand new! This 12 year single grain from @twostackswhiskey is finished in a French(not @fan_tastic_nick French. Real French 😜) Moscato Wine Cask. This dram is absolutely crushable at 62.5% ABV! I’ll post my complete thoughts on it this coming week so stay tuned.
St. Patrick’s day is tomorrow! Better get ahead of the game and crack a couple cans.
It’s funny when we celebrate #whiskeywednesday because most of us are pouring a drink regardless of the day. Sometimes I can honestly say I don’t even realize what day it is until after I pour myself a drink. Usually because it’s the first time I have stopped to relax all day.
If you are looking to encompass the new age of Irish Whiskey and pay homage to traditionalism, @brendan.carty.12 and his @killowendistillery is a brand you need to take notice of and follow.
@jeremypue and I sweating it out in the studio creating for @twostackswhiskey website.
Beautiful sight, isn’t it?
Should be a fun @bimberdistillery tasting with @thewhiskyexplorer this Thursday. There is truly something special about this brand, their whisky, and the mark they have made on the industry in a short period of time out of a small distillery in London.
Happy birthday to my most wonderful wife. The one who loves Jameson, but always pours more than she is ready for. Watch to the end 😂
Happy Monday! I know some sun shine and some @lawswhiskey Colorado Rye Whiskey will get me up for the week.
It’s March 1st which means it’s time for your Irish whiskey to move their way up to the front of your shelves.
A bit late to this party, but there are very few releases each year I look forward to buying and immediately consuming. @lagavulinwhisky @nickofferman is one of those releases.
