It has been awesome to hear all the chatter around these @wemyssmalts arriving in Canada these past few weeks! They all offer qualities both the beginner and enthusiast whisky drinker can enjoy, and they make a perfect value dram for the top of the bar to share with company.
It’s deep into stout season and this 12% Maple bourbon Barrel Stout banger from @lexingtonbrewingco is hitting the spot!
With Christmas right around the corner, what are you hoping Santa drops under the tree for you?
Remember this beast?
Has @nickofferman’s face changed the game for @lagavulinwhisky? Because off the top of my head, I can’t think of the last time I was this excited for an annual Laga release.
Christmas party season has begun! @edmontonscotchclub and I had a great time celebrating the season at our pal @ryanjespersen’s new studio downtown. At the party, was featured a @brokenbarrelwhiskey old fashioned using the Small Batch Bourbon. Good people and good drinks always equal a good time!
It’s Friday night and there are plenty of cocktails in our future this weekend!
New Malts in town! These @wemyssmalts blends are now one of the best value scotch you’ll see on the shelf here. The quality doesn’t end with the liquid either. Check out the branding too! Just stunning. Stay tuned as there will be a group of us in the coming weeks diving into and sharing info and thoughts on each expression.
Been sipping on and diggin this new @eauclairecraft Batch 006 Single Malt.
It’s officially December and time to think about Christmas gifts! I don’t think I need to tell you what your go to stocking stuffer will be this year. (pssst - it’s Dram in a Can!) Might as well stuff your own stocking with these little beauties too 😉.
Anyone else missing summer and camp fire season? As it dips below -20 this week, I sure am!
Hey American whisky drinkers. While your crushing bourbon for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, don’t forget about the next big thing… American Single Malt. Put your nose down for a second and appreciate what’s being created right at home. Barley brings a complexity, corn, rye, and wheat wish they could produce. Heck even when you mix the grains together, they still sometimes come up short and the one grain used to harmonize them is barley anyways. There are big things coming down the pipe for this genre and bandwagon jumping is unbecoming. Start enjoying it now before I have to say I told you so. Consider yourself put on notice and you can thank me later. 😏😜😘.
